We are lucky to have some beautiful babies modeling for us at HALO! We’d like you to introduce you to Maisy. She’s one of our many favorite HALO babies. In fact, she’s the face of our Halo Crib Notes Blog and is featured on our Halo SleepSack Crib Sets. HALO fans, meet Maisy!
How old is Maisy?
Maisy is 19 months old
What recent milestones has she acheived?
Maisy is a full time walker, almost running now! She currently has 12 teeth, but I think some more are coming soon. She has a huge vocabulary! Nigh Nigh, Buh Bye, Momma, Dadda, BaBa (for Grandmpa), Hi, Up, Down, Please, Puppy, Lets Go, and everything right now is "Yeah!" and that is just to name a few! Maisy also knows sign language for basic words such as: Please, Thank You and More.
What are her favorite activities?
Maisy likes to play with legos and stack them together, play on swings and slides at the park, look through books, climb up on the couch, play in the water, play songs on her mini piano/ fun sound stand, throw her ball around and eat!
What are her favorite foods?
Maisy loves bananas, toast, peaches, grilled cheese, all veggies, macaroni and cheese, yogurt, Oreos (on occasion) and milk of course!
Maisy is SO happy! Is she always this way?
Maisy has an extremely wide range of emotions and feelings; happy, sad, excited, scared, jealous, angry and even calm. She is also very humorous, she makes her parents laugh everyday! Overall, she is a very happy baby, lots of smiles, very outgoing. She says “hi” to everyone coming down the aisle at the store. Maisy does get sad and cry when she is sick, hungry or tired. Of course she has no other way of telling us if she is sad until she can use the right words in her vocabulary.
Maisy is so well natured, and has such a big smile, who does she take after mom or dad?
Maisy has a great mix of her mom and dad. She is funny and outgoing like her mom, and well behaved and good looking like her dad.
Maisy has been a model since she was very little, tell us a little bit about her modeling experience.
Maisy's dad is a Videographer and Photographer, so she has been photographed since she was born, literally. With that, Maisy became very comfortable with the camera right away. We would joke about Maisy only knowing her father as a body with a cyclops for a head because we took so many photos of her and she knew to look at the lens. At 7 months Maisy went to a casting call for HALO Innovations where they met Maisy and took a few head shots of her to see how she looked in photos as well as how she acted in the studio. We got a call back and found out how much she was liked and we were happy to participate in several of their shoots.
Does she still sleep in a HALO SleepSack?
Yes, Maisy absolutely still sleeps in a HALO SleepSack wearable blanket and has since the day she was born when she got her first one from the hospital. She finds them as comfortable to sleep in as we feel they keep her safe. Maisy sleeps all night, like a baby!
