Does your child love to help you in the kitchen? Below are 8 easy-to-make kid-friendly recipes that your child will enjoy helping you make. And enjoy eating too!
Make-your-own Personal Pizza: Most kids love pizza! And what fun to make it yourself. Start with pizza dough, pre-made crust, English muffins, or biscuits. Add sauce, cheese, and all of your favorite toppings.
Corn Dog Muffins: Start with your favorite corn muffin mix. Add small hot dog pieces into the mixture prior to pouring into the muffin cups and bake. Have fun dipping in ketchup, mustard, sour cream, honey mustard, or any other favorite dips.

Fruit Skewers: Create a fruit rainbow on a stick. Cut up chunks of fruits in different colors, and let you child thread them on the skewer.
Apple Slices on a Stick: Caramel apples are a fun fall treat, but can be heavy and hard to bite into. To make it easier for kids, cut the apple in slices the long way. Dip in caramel or chocolate and add sprinkles.
Ants on a Log: For the classic version, cut celery in half, add peanut butter along the middle and raisins on top. For a fun variation, try “fishing” for the raisins or goldfish crackers by cutting the celery in half or quarters and adding a dab of peanut butter to the end. You can have a little dish of peanut butter for your child to dip.
Yogurt Drops: For a healthy finger food snack, spoon flavored yogurt into a plastic bag and cut a small hole at the point. Squeeze dots onto a cookie sheet and place in the freezer for about an hour.

Banana Treats: All you need for this healthy yet sweet treat is bananas, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. Cut the bananas in slices and layer on a cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Add a bit of peanut butter on top of each banana slice and then coat with melted chocolate. Allow to set in the freezer for a few hours and store remaining snacks in the freezer.

M&M Chocolate Pretzels: This one is very easy for the kids to help with. Fill a cookie sheet with pretzel twists and add a Hershey’s Kiss on top of each one. Bake in the oven at 275 degrees for just 3 minutes. Then add a colorful M&M to the top of each and refrigerate until hardened.
