Crib Notes

Being a Father (and Mother) is a truly unique experience and a feeling that you can only understand by becoming one. It is filled with the most incredible highs and, unfortunately, sometimes the most incredible lows.

This week is National Nurse’s week so my message and thanks go out to all you nurses who work tirelessly (and at all hours of the day AND night) to save lives, provide comfort, and teach us how to care for ourselves and the ones we love. I’ve had more than my share of experiences with you for both personal and family reasons and always marvel at the passion that must burn within you to help others- regardless of how busy, tired and stressed you may be or how rude, angry, impatient, or “entitled” your patients can be.

As the founder of HALO Innovations and a SIDS father, I am excited to launch our very own blog!  As many of your already know, I lost my daughter to SIDS in 1991 and have committed my life to raising awareness about safe sleep for babies to prevent other parents from experiencing the same unimaginable loss of a child.   It is my intention that this blog – Crib Notes – will serve as a resource for parents, grandparents and caregivers of babies and toddlers.
