Its strong adjustable fasteners ensure a perfect fit and resist breakouts for more secure swaddling. We were given a halo at the hospital and when we got home, we discovered we need more. We bought two cotton and one fleece. Not only did they help our baby sleep, they were super helpful when we were sent home with the bilirubin blanket. The Bili blanket fit perfectly in the sack to keep the light on him while keeping him comfortable and warm.
I am now ordering more sleep sacks because my little one is growing out of his new born swaddles and I don't think he could sleep with out them.

The fleece SleepSack Swaddle that I got for my son was cuddly and warm in his chilly room and was a great way to give him that secure feeling of being held and mitigate his still active startle reflex, despite that hes already a couple months old. Our pediatrician recommended we stop swaddling him over the next month and this was a perfect transition piece: we were able to swaddle him arms out after a night or two and he had more room to move his legs than in a traditional Velcro swaddle piece.
Only caveat: I feed my son right before putting him in and if hes already in his sleepsack its hard for him to burp... so I needed to have it opened or off until he burped and then finish closing it up which sometimes woke him up.

Since we brought my littlest home from the hospital we've been using Halo sleep sacks -- NB size and now Small. It's so soft and warm, so we don't worry about him being chilly on cold nights, and the swaddle is secure and helps him sleep peacefully. And I feel good knowing he's *safely* warm and secured. I recommend it highly.

I absolutely love the HALO SleepSack wearable blankets, and my son does, too! My sister died of SIDS years ago, and I am ultra-cautious about anything "extra" in Drew's crib, including blankets. The HALO SleepSack helps give me peace of mind and keeps my little guy nice and snuggly warm. The quality is great - I wash them all the time and they hold up well. I highly recommend the Swaddle and fleece Wearable blankets to ALL parents. They also make wonderful baby shower gifts! Trust me, you won't be sorry with these products.
