Crib Liners
Our Breathable Mesh Crib Liner—not a crib bumper—is designed to keep tiny limbs and pacifiers inside the crib while promoting airflow.
Featuring a patented design unique to HALO, it's the only crib liner tested and certified to meet the ASTM F1917 standard for infant bedding, ensuring the highest level of safety.
Crib Liners
Crib liners are thin pieces of fabric, sometimes made of mesh, that are installed around the inside of a crib. They are designed to keep babies from getting their arms or legs stuck between the crib slats and keep pacifiers inside the crib, minimizing wake ups due to stuck limbs or lost pacis.
Are mesh crib liners safer than padded bumpers? Mesh crib liners are designed to be safer because they are breathable and reduce the risk of suffocation, unlike padded crib bumpers which have been linked to suffocation hazards and are not approved by AAP Guidelines.
To ensure safety, make sure the mesh crib liner meets safety standards like ASTM F1917, fits your crib properly, is installed correctly and is not secondhand, as older products may not meet current safety guidelines.
