Building your baby registry can be fun + exciting, but also a little (okay, a lot) confusing.
There are the obvious items - stroller, crib, car seat - and then others you may not have considered. Below are the top items we wish we’d registered for. Hopefully this list saves you a future 2am Amazon order (we’ve all been there…)
Bedtime
An Easy-to-Use Swaddle. Newborn sleep can be tricky for everyone. Swaddles are a great way to help soothe your little for better (read: longer!) sleep. Our Easy Swaddle Wrap makes it a cinch to swaddle even the wiggliest babes.
A few Versatile Muslin Swaddles. Not just for swaddling (though great for that too!), you’ll find a million ways to use cotton muslin swaddle blankets. We use them as stroller covers, burp cloths, changing pad covers (very helpful on-the-go), and even lightweight scarves!
A Transition Wearable Blanket. Swaddling is great until your baby shows signs of rolling (usually around 4 - 6 months.) Then it’s time to move to a wearable blanket for safe sleep. Nervous to go cold turkey? The HALO Easy Transition blanket makes for a smoother transition without losing that hard-earned sleep.
A few Crib Sheets. You’ve got the crib, but do you have enough sheets? We recommend at least three so you have extras for laundry days + when blowouts happen. Our 100% cotton muslin sheets are super soft + breathable too, so they’re a great choice to pair with a breathable crib mattress.

Mealtime
A few Burp Cloths. Spit happens, so you can’t have too many burp cloths. We love our 2-in-1 burpy bibs that go from burp cloths to snap bib, so you get extra long use. With wrap around coverage + super absorbency, they’re helpful for catching spills before they stain.
An Auto Formula Dispenser. When it’s 3am and your newbie needs a bottle, you’re going to want to make it as easy as possible. Use an automatic formula dispenser to make a warm bottle in just seconds. We love the ones from our friends at Baby Brezza.

Bathtime
A Baby Bath Kneeler. Washcloths? Check. Hooded Towels? Check. Once you’ve got the basics, consider grabbing a cushy bath kneeler, to help make bath time easier + more comfy for you.
Baby Lotion. Baby skin is thinner + more delicate than big kids, which means it loses moisture more easily - especially during colder temps. Using baby lotion after bathing is a great way to keep skin moisturized and healthy. (You can even use it to give a relaxing mini-massage!)

On-The-Go
A Travel Stroller. You’ll definitely want a regular stroller, but if you’re planning to take your little on the go, a lightweight travel stroller can be very convenient. Things to consider: do you want it to fit in an overhead airplane bin? Should it be upright only, or adjust back so your babe can nap comfortably? (We vote yes for both!)
A Safe Sleep Space. Sleep safety is important for every sleep, including when you’re traveling or visiting family. The HALO BassiNest Flex assembles quickly and folds into a slim carry bag, making it a great choice for on the go.

We hope this makes your registry building just a little easier. And when you’re getting into the home stretch, make sure to take advantage of registry completion discounts (Amazon offers 15% off all remaining items, and babylist and Target also offer great discounts!)
