Loveys

A lovey is a small, soft comfort object designed to help babies and toddlers feel safe and soothed. You can start introducing a lovey once your child is over 12 months old, when it's safe to have soft items in the crib. Before that, loveys can be used during supervised snuggles, stroller rides, or car travel.

Loveys provide emotional comfort and familiarity that can ease separation anxiety, nap-time resistance, or the stress of new environments like daycare. When part of a consistent routine, they can cue your little one that it’s time to rest, helping them settle more easily.

Our loveys are made from 100% cotton muslin, known for its soft, breathable feel, and finished with a soothing satin trim that little ones love to touch. Gentle on sensitive skin and designed for everyday comfort, they’re built to withstand frequent washes while staying soft, snuggly, and ready for years of cuddles.

Many parents find it helpful to have two or three loveys—one for home, one for daycare or the diaper bag, and a backup for when one is in the wash. Rotating loveys helps keep attachment objects clean and available without disrupting routines.

Loveys should not be placed in a crib or sleep environment for babies under 12 months, in line with safe sleep recommendations. Before that, they can be used under supervision for bonding moments like feeding, stroller time, or play.
