HORRENDOUS experience

"We purchased this dresser, the matching crib and the changing table add-on back in November. It's now February, and our baby is due in 9 weeks, and we've yet to be able to put the dresser together. Why? Because Child Craft continues to send us damaged parts. With the first dresser that was shipped, I had to call and order new parts 3 times. The next time I called, they sent us an entire new dresser, as both the drawers and side brackets that hold the drawers were damaged, so the dresser was not functional. The new dresser they sent us also contained multiple damaged brackets, which will render the dresser unusable. We don't know where to go from here, but this is the worst, most cheaply made furniture we've ever encountered. I'm not sure if Child Craft is poorly manufactured or severely skimping on shipping costs (it's poorly packaged and arrives in beat-up conditions) or BOTH, but the product is extremely overpriced for furniture that isn't even usable. The only positive I have to offer is that they have kind and patient customer service who has happily helped me every time I call (which has been A LOT). I hope we can eventually get all of the working parts we need so we have a dresser and changing table before our son arrives. Save yourself the time and stress and find more reliable, easier to assemble furniture for your nursery."

Beautiful but not worth it

"So we really like the look of the redmond set (we have the crib, short and tall dresser). It looks like a high quality product. However, I would not purchase the dresser. It took my husband a whole day to put both dressers together and the drawers aren't great. They are hard to open and to close. If we hadn't spent the money, I would get rid of them."

"This piece arrived with several blemishes and flaws not caused by shipping. But what's worse is the drawers do not open functionally. It takes several tries to get everything lined up before they'll open. Don't spend your hard earned money on this non-functional product."

Okay dresser

"Overall, this is an okay dresser. Probably not worth the price. The top drawer is just one drawer ((not 2 like it appears to be). The drawers don’t slide very easily like it should for a toddlers room. The top of the dresser came scuffed up and is not super aesthetically pleasing. Disappointing given the price point. I bought a crib from child craft in this same color and absolutely love it, so I’m surprised by the not so great quality of the dresser."
