"We went with this bed because we weren't comfortable putting our 3 year old in a standard twin bed yet as he is a very active sleeper with a tendency to roll out of bed. We liked that this bed was designed for toddlers and is low to the ground. It is sturdy and the materials feel solid and not flimsy like some kinds of furniture. It wasn't complicated to build but a little frustrating as the slats kept coming out while my husband was trying to secure the pieces together. We figured out you have to gently balance them in there slots while putting it together but once you tighten up all your screws they are good and secure which all in all made sense. I like the colour. Overall we are happy with the bed, the only thing I wish I could change would be that the side rails were 3/4 the length of the bed instead of 1/4 the length for those kids that are active sleepers."
