I did my due diligence
"I did my due diligence and verified which rails I needed for the convertible bed we previously bought. I ordered ahead of time so that when we needed to convert the bed, we had everything on hand. But the rails they sent do not match up with the bed, which you can't verify until you take the bed apart. I checked the paperwork on the bed and the rails. I looked online again and asked the AI if they were supposed to match. Your AI verified they should match. But they don't. Not even close. The holes on the rail don't like up with the headboard. The footboard doesn't have holes to attach the rails. They have clearly changed the design or mismarked the rails they sent me. But either way, it was a disaster. The dresser we bought a long time ago also arrived damaged at the time and the bottom part of the drawers are not good quality so we've had to fix two of those as well. I would not recommend this brand after all the issues I've had. (This is my second child. The other crib I purchased from a previous brand did not have these issues. I didn't keep with a brand bc I was looking for a specific look. This brand has what I was looking for at the time. )"

"We bought the crib and it was great, no complaints, but we just got the bed rails. It does not come with NEW hardware you have to use the hardware already provided with the crib. My main issue is you kind of have to have a box spring (with the mattress we bought 8”) Becasue there is only three small rails to support the mattress, it doesn’t support it very well. My daughter only weighs 35 pounds, so it’s not a huge deal right now, but when she gets bigger it will be a problem. If I lay on the bed the mattress falls through. Even with our dog (100 pounds) the mattress falls through. It’s just not ideal in the long run without a box spring or adding more support beams. For the price, I feel it should come with more than 3 thin support beams."

Hardware
"Great looking products, but for the price you should include the necessary hardware to attach these rails to the headboard/footboard and not rely on the consumer to keep the leftover hardware for 4 years from the crib. Terrible choice, would not recommend this product based on that aspect."

"The rails do not come with anything other than wood screws. The original bed doesn’t have enough bold or components. Running around trying to get everything’s a mess!!!"

"Very nice convertible crib. I wish I would have bought all the convertible pieces (guard rail and bed rails) as was suggested in another post. Now the bed rails are unavailable. Hope they're available soon. Time to put the toddler in the big bed!"
