What is TOG?
TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) is the warmth rating used for baby sleepwear. It measures how well a fabric traps warm air to keep your baby at a comfortable temperature. The higher the TOG, the warmer the sleepwear, making it easier to choose the right SleepSack based on your room temperature.
TOG Temperature Guide
0.5 TOG — 75°F to 77°F — Summer / warm rooms
1.0 TOG — 72–75°F — Year-round / mild rooms
1.5 TOG — 68–72°F — Spring & fall
2.0 TOG — 64–68°F — Cooler rooms
3.0 TOG — 61–64°F — Winter / cold rooms
Not sure what TOG to choose? A good rule of thumb: dress baby the way you'd dress yourself for sleep, then swap the blanket for a SleepSack.
