Both a sleepsack and a swaddle are used to help babies feel secure and comfortable while sleeping, but they serve different purposes and have distinct designs:

Sleepsack (or Sleep Sack): A sleepsack, on the other hand, is a wearable blanket or sleeping bag designed for infants and young children. It comes in various sizes to accommodate different age groups. The sleepsack allows the baby to have their arms free and is not meant for swaddling. It is worn over the baby's sleepwear and provides warmth and comfort while ensuring there are no loose blankets that could pose suffocation risks. When your baby shows signs of breaking free from the SleepSack Swaddle or rolling over, it’s time to discontinue swaddling.  To make the transition easier, we recommend gradually transitioning your little one to the SleepSack Wearable Blanket.
