The top of my mattress is 22" from the floor. Is that going to be too low for the BassiNest Soothing Swivel Sleeper 3.0, which seems to be designed to fit mattresses 24"-30" from the floor? (My bed frame is 6" from the floor, so I think there will be space for the legs.)

It should still work with 3.0 Soothing. You’ll have a slight gap of about 2” between the top of your bed and the bottom of the BassiNest, but it will still swivel over it comfortably. (If anything this might help if you have a thicker comforter that takes up a little space atop your mattress.)

I have drawers under my bed so there’s isn’t much space under the bed for the stand/legs. How much space does it need for the legs? My bed has about 1.5 inches in height and 1.75 inches in depth available under the bed.

Thanks for the question. All BassiNests have legs designed to slide under the parents’ bed so you can sleep extra close to your baby. With drawers under your bed, it doesn’t sound like there is much room for the legs to fit. While you could place a BassiNest next to the bed, you won’t be able to enjoy the full benefits of the swivel or lowering arm features because it will be too far away. BassiNest may not be the best sleep solution given your bed setup and we want to make sure have a good sleep experience especially in the early newborn days. Good luck!

Just purchased the bassinet and need to know if I also need to add the mattress that is posted? I will add the waterproof mattress cover for sure! Thank you Judy Baxter

You can use BassiNest 3.0 as is; a mattress pad and sheet come included. However, we definitely recommend purchasing 1 – 2 extra sheets for laundry or when accidents happen. A mattress cover is also a good idea for protecting the mattress. The DreamWeave breathable replacement mattress is optional, but many parents love that it’s fully breathable. It can help baby sleep more comfortably and give parents extra peace of mind too

Does this model come with the Breathable Mattress or a regular mattress?

BassiNest 3.0 Soothing comes with our standard mattress pad. DreamWeave can be purchased separately and fits all BassiNest models (except for Twin)

Yes, BassiNest Soothing 3.0 comes with a mattress pad as well as one fitted polyester sheet. (Extra sheets can be purchased separately - we recommend having a few on hand for laundry and when accidents happen.)
