Hi, we are looking to get the wearable blanket plushy dot velboa style. However, I see it is made of 100% polyester. I have learned and read on so many sources that babies should wear clothing and wearable blankets that are made of only 100% cotton. I am seeing great reviews for your brand, but am not understanding why there are great reviews for something made of only polyester. Can you please elaborate on this, perhaps I am missing something? Thank you!
Thanks for the great question. Many people prefer 100% cotton for clothing and wearable blankets, but it really is a personal preference. Some parents prefer our fleece or velboa options because they have a higher TOG value (meaning they are warmer) than cotton, or because they have a snuggly, cozy feel. Velboa in particular feels incredible to the touch and on delicate baby skin. It’s up to you and if you prefer 100% cotton, we’ve got tons of great prints and colors in this fabric too.
